Stephen Dunmore

Stephen Dunmore, FR

Stephen Dunmore was appointed as Chief Executive of the Fundraising Regulator in December 2015. He was previously Chief Executive of the New Opportunities Fund and the Big Lottery Fund.

Since leaving the Big Lottery Fund in 2008, Stephen has been Interim Chief Executive of the Responsible Gambling Fund, The Diana Princess of Wales Memorial Fund, the Lumos Foundation, the National Consumer Council and the Family and Childcare Trust. He was Chair of Capacitybuilders, National Family Mediation and the BBC’s Awards Advisory Committee; and served as a member of the Office of the Third Sector’s Advisory Body.

Stephen is a trustee of The Prince’s Countryside Fund and a Council Member of the Society of Antiquaries.

Alastair Wilson

Alastair has an impressive background in Accident and Emergency medicine, founding the London’s Air Ambulance. Much of Alastair’s career was spent at the Royal London Hospital, where he retired as a consultant surgeon in 2013. Alastair was awarded an OBE for his efforts in the 7/7 bombings alongside transport and emergency service staff who responded that day. Alastair is delighted to be working in the air ambulance community who are forward thinking in trauma.

Miles Scott

 Miles Scott is an Improvement Director at NHS Improvement, and Co-Chair of the NHS Ambulance Improvement Programme.  Miles was previously Chief Executive of St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from 2011 to 2016, Chief Executive of Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust from 2005 to 2011 and prior to that, Chief Executive of Harrogate and District NHS Foundation Trust from 2001 to 2005.

 Miles’ other national roles have included Chair of the NICE Safe Staffing Advisory Committee (2013-15), Vice Chair of the Foundation Trust Network (2010-11), Member, Centre for Workforce Intelligence Governance Board (2012-15) and member of the GMC’s Undergraduate Board (2011-2014).  He started his NHS career on the general management training scheme in 1988 after graduating from Cambridge University with a degree in history.

 His career in the NHS has encompassed acute, community and mental health services, the Department of Health and the King's Fund. Miles is a chartered director and has an honorary doctorate from the University of Bradford.
